Ständiger Kurzstreckenbetrieb oder lange Stillstandszeiten. Auch bei einem geparkten Auto muss die Batterie Energie liefern, sei es für die Alarmanlage, Türschlösser, Keyless-Go-Funktion und verschiedenes anderes mehr.
Dass immer mehr elektrische Verbraucher im Fahrzeug die Batterie über Gebühr belasten, zeigt die Entwicklung der Pannenursache Nr.1: Ausfall von Batterien: waren das 1998 noch 31%, so sind es 2018 schon 52 % gewesen!

Spätestens wenn die ersten Minusgrade auf dem Thermometer sichtbar sind und morgens das Auto nicht anspringt, dann denken wir an die Batterie. Dabei beginnt das „Batteriesterben“ eigentlich schon bei den Sommertemperaturen um die + 30° C und darüber, weil die Batterien dann zur Selbstentladung neigen, wodurch der Akku schneller altert.
Gut, im Sommer macht sich das nicht so sehr bemerkbar, aber im Winter, wenn der Motor mehr Energie zum Starten benötigt und Scheibenheizung vorn und hinten, sowie in Dauerbetrieb laufende Scheibenwischer die Batterie belasten – dann ist diese schlicht überfordert und gibt den Geist auf.
Die einzige Möglichkeit herauszufinden, wie es um meine Batterie bestellt, besteht darin, die Batterie in einer Fachwerkstatt prüfen zu lassen – es lohnt sich bestimmt!
