Der Trabi ist noch von meinem Stiefvater, Bj 1987, hat die 200.000km Gesamtlaufleistung voriges Jahr überschritten ( mit 3. Kurbelwelle 🙂 ) und hat etliche Länder Europas kennen gelernt. Natürlich zwischenzeitlich komplett restauriert.Letzte große Tour 2011 nach Schweden. Da ist Made in East Germany (GDR) noch ein Begriff und zeugt heute noch bei der älteren Generation für Anerkennung. Hatten viele tolle Begegnungen mit den Schweden und waren zum Nostalgia Festival in Ronneby eingeladen.
Da ich immer wieder auf Oldtimertreffen bin und auch nach der Batterie gefragt werde-man glaubt es ja kaum noch- werde ich, wenn sie nichts dagegen haben, Ihre Firma entsprechend erwähnen und nehme paar Kopien Ihrer Seite mit. Mache ich mit allen Beteiligten so, ob Polsterei in Pirna, Trabantwerkstatt in Chemnitz usw.

Handwerkliche Herstellung – Schon vor 35 Jahren. Vor mehr als 40 Jahren entschloss sich Ing. W. Zippel in Frauenhagen, Batterien in seiner Werkstatt selbst zu fertigen. Als erstes regenerierte er defekte Hartgummi-Batterien, in dem er die Batterien demontierte und mit einem neuen Innenleben ausstattete.
Heut zu Tage gibt es alle Komponenten, für die Fertigung der Hartgummibatterie, auf dem Weltmarkt. Unter Leitung vom jetzigen Firmeninhaber Jörg Zippel werden im Firmensitz in Frauenhagen einige Typen in Hartgummiausführung gefertigt. Nachfolgend eine Auflistung mit Abmaßen der dezeit gefertigten Batterien.
