Auf dem Foto ist eine Batterie zu sehen welche explodiert ist. Diese Batterie wurde zur Veranschaulichtung in „Gasung“ gebracht. Die Zündquelle war ein trockenes Papiertuch. Dieses hat eine statische Entladung mit Funkenbildung erzeugt und die Batterie ist explodiert. Sie sehen auf dem Bild welche Kräfte freigesetzt werden.

Man mag sich nicht Vorstellen was bei so einem Vorfall alles passieren kann.  Das Beispiel verdeutlicht wie wichtig es ist im Umgang mit Batterien große Sorgfallt an den Tag zu legen.

Beim Ladevorgang einer Bleisäurebatterie, die über ihren maximalen Ladezustand hinaus geladen wird, kommt es dazu, dass Sauerstoff und Wasserstoff freigesetzt werden. Diese bilden zusammen das sogenannte „Knallgas“. Dieses Gasgemisch ist, wie der Name schon erahnen lässt, leicht entzündlich.

Beim Umgang mit Blei-Säure-Batterien ist das Rauchen und der Umgang mit offenen Flammen nicht erlaubt. Es reicht schon eine kleiner Funke der bei einer statischen Entladung entsteht um das Gasgemisch zu entzünden und die Batterie explodiert.

Die Pole können Sie natürlich abwischen.

Mit einer Stellfläche von 1200mm × 800mm – also knapp 1m2 fassen sie etwas mehr als 1m3 an Altbatterien. Dank dieser Norm-Masse passen Transportpaletten (Euro-Palette) direkt darunter. Gefüllte Paloxen können ganz einfach per Gabelstapler transportiert werden.

Paloxe – Rundum praktisch

Paloxen sind Behälter für den Transport, mit rundum festen Seitenwänden. Die Höhe der Seitenwände ist nicht zwingend genormt. Die Breite und die Länge entsprechen aber der Transportpalette, oder Euro-Platte. Seitlich verfügen die Paloxe über Lüftungsschlitze, sie sind stapelbar.

Standard in Breite und Länge

Mit einer Stellfläche von 1200mm × 800mm – also knapp 1m2 fassen sie etwas mehr als 1m3 an Altbatterien. Dank dieser Norm-Masse passen Transportpaletten (Euro-Palette) direkt darunter. Gefüllte Paloxen können ganz einfach per Gabelstapler transportiert werden.

Was bedeutet denn jetzt die Bezeichnung Paloxe?

Die Bezeichnung ist nichts weiter als ein Markenname. So wie BRAUN seine Haartrockner Fön nennen, darf nur die Utz Gruppe (einem Hersteller dieser Behälter) zu den Transportboxen POLOXE sagen.

Wir verwenden z.B. für die Entsorgung von Batterien universelle Behälter die stapelbar, wasserdicht und säurebeständig sind. So garantieren wir die strengen Vorschriften als zertifizierter Entsorgungsbetrieb
